Day at the Beach: Have fun and burn calories too

 We all know spending a day at the beach is good for our psyche.  But who knew it was so good for our physical health too?  Check out this list of beach-worthy activities that burn some major calories.

Now I am going to go catch a wave!  Or maybe spend the weekend with my mom at the beach.  On the agenda: overnight in a modern hostel; boogie boarding, good food and good company.  I might even through in some wave jumping, cartwheels and running away from the waves.  🙂

  1. can you believe I live only 30 minutes from Bondi Beach and hardly ever go?? Shameful, really.

    plans for the weekend include writing and hopefully going for a run! hope you’re enjoying yours 🙂

  2. Well, now that the weekend is almost over I wish I had gotten more done. I did workout twice and get some cleaning done, but other than that – nothing exciting.

  4. Wow, kite flying is quite the calorie burner! I would have to pick cartwheels though!
